Rita Ora stated that her journey so far in the music industry allows her to understand and truly relate to the X Factor contestants, a competition that she was a guest judge for.
Rita said that because she’s only been famous for a short amount of time, she can relate to the auditions. “I’m in the same boat as them,” she said. “I’m only a 20-year-old artist, two singles deep and so I know how important it is to make a first impression on someone…I walked into the Roc Nation offices wanting to make a big impression on Jay-Z and so I can relate to them.”
Rita Ora added, “I felt like it was my moment to help anyone who would take it. I wasn’t there to judge, I just wanted to enjoy people’s imaginations and creativity and try and direct it in the right way.”
